Vesper opened its doors in Angel Fire in the summer of 2026, but it started the way most good ideas in this valley do: with someone looking around and asking why not here.
Angel Fire has world-class skiing, some of the best mountain biking in the Southwest, and a front-row seat to the Enchanted Circle. What it didn't have was a dispensary built with the same standard the mountain sets. So we built one.
Curation, not clutter.
Walk into most dispensaries and you'll find a wall of everything. Walk into Vesper and you'll find less, on purpose. We work with growers and makers from across New Mexico, from established names to small operations doing remarkable work, and we carry only what earns its place. If it's on our shelf, someone here has vetted it, questioned it, and decided it belongs.
That's the whole model. You don't have to be an expert. You just have to walk in. We did the homework so your visit takes ten good minutes instead of forty confusing ones.
A room worth the drive.
We could have built a fluorescent box with a menu screen. Instead we built the kind of room you'd expect behind an unmarked door: art deco lines, warm gold against deep black, a place that treats this plant and the people who come for it like adults. The stag on the wall is called The Proprietor. He's been expecting you.
