The route
From Eagle Nest, head south on US-64 along the Moreno Valley, then turn onto NM-434 South into Angel Fire. Follow it to 3465 Mountain View Blvd. It is about 12 miles and roughly 15 to 20 minutes.
This is the gentlest stretch of the Enchanted Circle, wide open and mostly flat, though it can be windy and icy in winter.
