Shopping after the lifts close
Vesper is a short drive from the resort base area. We are open 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM Sunday, which leaves plenty of time to stop in after your last run and still make dinner.
Late afternoon is our busiest time in winter. If you want in and out, order ahead on the live menu from the lodge or the lift line and your order will be bagged and waiting. A quick ID check and you are back to the cabin.
Rules on the mountain
New Mexico law does not allow cannabis consumption in public places, and that includes lifts, trails, lodges, parking lots, and vehicles. Keep products sealed while you are out and consume only on private property where the owner allows it. Never drive impaired.
Many rentals and condos have their own no smoking rules. Edibles and drinks are a discreet option, but read the label and go slow.
Altitude and the long day
Angel Fire's base sits around 8,400 feet. A full day of skiing, cold air, and altitude adds up. Drink water, eat well, and do not drive or operate machinery under the influence.
Cash and debit accepted, and all prices include tax, so the number you see is the number you pay. Bring a valid government issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. Out of state IDs are welcome.
